Today is my birthday. My 29th years of life.

Terima kasiih Mak kerana melahirkan aku (aku keluar ikut 'tingkap'), menjaga dan mendidik aku, bersabar dengan perangai aku yg perengus...:)

Terima kasih ayah, yang mendidik aku menjadi orang yg berdikari. Memberikan nasihat bila orang dah bosan dengan perangai aku, mencari rezeki untuk membesarkan aku.

Terima kasih untuk kakakku yang selalu memberi idea yang kadang2 aku taknak ikut tetapi terpaksa ikut sebab idea yang bernas, yang selalu menasihat dari pelbagai perkara terutamanya pasal kewangan, yang menjadi contoh kakak yang pandai berjimat dan memberi anak2 sedara yang comel..

Terima kasih adikku yang selalu menolong dalam hal ehwal komputer, yang sehingga masa aku menulis ini, dia belum lagi wish aku selamat hari lahir..Ceh..hampeh punyer adik..

Terima kasih kepada semua yang pernah mendoakan kebajikan aku, sama ada waktu birthday aku atau tidak. Semoga kiter semuer bahagia dunia dan akhirat....

Mana pokok dia?

Have u ever been dumbfounded by a simple question? I usually come across this question, from a child (my nieces), not my students..hehehe...

Pada suatu hari, setelah selesai menyiapkan anak sedara, aku terdengar bunyi letusan bunga api. Sempena apa ntah, 'New Year' or 'Chinese New Year'. Tak ingat dah. So, aku ajak anak sedara aku kuar tengok..

"Kakak, nak tengok bunga api tak?"

"Nak. tengok kat mana, Mak Ngah?"

Kat luar umah. Jom"

Kat luar umah, kitorang berdiri tengok bunga api tu. Cantik...

"Kakak, tengok tu, kat atas tu. Cantik tak?"

"Chantik. mak Ngah, tu ke bunger api?"

"Haah.."

"Mak Ngah, mana pokok dia"

Alamak!spoil! Apa aku nak jawab ni? Agak2nyerla, kalau aku speaking english dengan dia, musti soalan ni tak kuar kan?..cth: "Kakak, look at that FIREWORK. Isn't it beautiful?". "Yes it is".

So, aku pun jawab..

"Namer jer bunger api. Dier macam mercun la kakak. Bukan tumbuhan. Jadi, dier takder pokok".

"Oo..Kalau dier tumbuhan, dia ada pokok?"

"Haah".

"Tumbuhan tu aper Mak Ngah?"

Ayoyoyo..Padayappa..

"Tumbuhan tu, pokok la, ada daun, ada bunga..(walaupun ada tumbuhan yang tidak berpokok, tidak berdaun, tidak berbunga). Esok siang, kiter jalan kat luar, Mak Ngah tunjuk tumbuhan yer.."

"Ok"

Sebab nak simple kan jawapan aku, takder ler jadi macam lecture kat dalam kelas pulak...tapi, dari soalan dier ler aku ader idea nak buat set induksi dalam kelas kuliah aku..kebetulan aku ajor topic Biodiversity..

"Bunga apa tiada pokok?". Aku berbahasa Melayu dalam kuliah maser ni semata-mata sebab nak sesuaikan dengan soalan.

Ader la budak yang jawab : "Bunga tayar"..

Hmm...betul jugek (dalam hati). "Lagi?"

"Bunga api". Ader jugek yg dapat jawab...

Next, aku terus ler tanya soalan2 berikut:

Hmm...tergagau nak carik..Baru ler sebuk2 nak semak buku...

Transformers...Robots In disguise

Kawan-kawan...Saper2 yang belum tengok Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen (suara robot yer), pegilah tengok...Best..best...best..

Kalau dah tengok yg first nyer dulu, n rasa best, yg kedua ni jauh lagi lagi lagi best!

Semua unsur ada:
Suspens (of course ler kan), humour, erotic (ngehngehngeh...sket2 jer..nak show off body Megan Fox tu), Techy (yeler, keje ngan robot kan..), sedih, irritating pun ader tau...Bagi kita kan, setanding ler dengan perasaan maser tengok LOTR. Kecuali unsur pemandangan cantik agak kureng sket. Yela, LOTR kan shooting kat New Zealand. Yg Transformers ni lak shooting kat Bandar Petra, Piramid, Mesir. Ada perasaan macam...Wau...SEVEN wonders of the WORLD..

Part paling best yg kiter rasa + kelakor ler skalik kan..(nanti korang tengok citer ni carik part ni kay) :

"I've changed side. I am no longer serving Decepticon"

"What? We can change side? We don't have to work with the evil Decepticon?
I wanna change side! I wanna change side! (running to Mikaela and holding tight to her left leg). Please, take me! Take me! I wanna go with you..Please...My name is..."

Hehehe...carik tau scene tu..kiut....Nanti kiter carik gambo yg berkaitan eh...Alaa...tapi, pegi la tengok dulu...

Interview

A few faces turned this morning, having an interview. I did catwalked in front of them, maintaining a 'macam-bagus-still-smiling' look. And they (interviewee) returned my smile.

Having a look at their faces, I remembered my time 7 years ago. But differently, my interview was held at Jalan Kampung Attap. And as a non-Kl girl, Jalan Kampung Attap sounds like...[urghh...wehere was that?].

I couldn't quite remember who gave me the direction. That someone (i think it was MAZA that got the information from his mom) told me the intended office was at KWSG building. And i was..."What the **** is KWSG? I knew KWSP...".

I was accompanied by Sufee. A simple (maybe sempoi) girl as I was, I was not used to wear Kebaya and the last kebaya that i wore was during my graduation (covered with the 'jubah'). And in addition, my Kebaya was a flaming Red Kebaya.. What a gorgeous young lady...Muahahaha..

The real thing that made me suffer was...

1. Getting myself into the crammed commuter train [don't forget the Red Kebaya, full-covered shoes and a rainbow-coloured sling bag]. Enough with the stare. I ignored them because *thanked to God* Sufee was with me.
2. We walked gracefully from the train station of Central Market to the KWSG (dekat dengan Hotel Midah), crossing road and roundabout.. The best part was, at the roundabout someone in a van whistled at us..[ignore...ignore...].

Enough with the suffering, we finally reached the intended building and registered. While waiting for my turn, everybody was reading and discussing like they were attempting to sit for an exam. But, why didn't I? Hehehehe...

In The Room, my interview went on smoothly. Except for the part that i confessed I couldn't answer the question which was:

"Can u differentiate between Prokaryote and Eukaryote?"

And my answer was:

"Prokaryote is a primitive cell. While Eukaryote is a more advanced cell like us. And...and...I'm sorry sir, I couldn't recall anymore of their differences".*eyes looking straight to their faces*.

Then, they asked me to teach a class with any topic that I want. So, I taught Food Pyramid. hehehe..my passion ma...always about food...hihihi.

At the last part of my interview, they asked me if I have any particular college that I wanted to choose to teach. I said..

'No, I accept any college that U assign me to'.

'So, U are still available?'

And with confidence [this was so embarrassing] i answered. No, I'm not.

"Oh. You are married?"

"No, I'm still single"

"So,You are engaged?"

"No, I'm still single"

" But u said, u are not available"

OMG!!! What was I thinking? I was thinkinh about 'UNATTACHED' but they were talking about 'UNAVAILABLE'. Adussss...

*blushing*..."Sorry sir..I didn't know what got into me..I'm single and available".

That was then. Now, ironically, I'm single but not available. Hahaha..that answer of mine had become true..If God wills it...
